In the likely event that United States either falls or is removed by force, I need to know what to do with all these prisoners. United States has way too many people in prison for stupid stuff.
Obviously, neither will we have the money to keep them, nor does the waste of human capital serve any purpose.
So we need to start laying the groundwork for determining what prisoners get released, and what to do with the remaining ones.
Victimless crimes, just boot 'em. Violent crimes are another story.
I am not kidding, folks. Am I not always at least six months ahead of the curve? In the case of 9-11, I was seven years ahead of the curve. Imagine what a better situation we'd be in today had I been doing stand-up at that time, and had people listened to me. I would put my accuracy over the past five years at about ninety percent. Not bad for looking several years forward, wouldn't you say?
So when I say we need to start doing a thing, we need to start doing it. A stitch in time saves nine.
