In two weeks Obama has managed to lose his base. No Republican in the land supported him to begin with, and now his Democratic base is peeling off, seeing that he is completely "down" with torture and wiretapping and extraordinary rendition and fake wars. He'll have us in Pakistan next.
Mister Obama is an object lesson in how to lose an audience. Take up stand-up; you'll learn how not to do that. (Hint: Storm off now and again like you have way better things to do with your time. When you return, as you inevitably will, bring flowers.)
Do you honestly believe that you possess one iota of political power? (Outside of your mind, that is, where you play dress up and thrust a baton into the air and salute yourself in the mirror.)
