I don't want to get anyone in trouble and this is probably the wrong forum for this, but I don't have time to fill out a help ticket --not that there's probably even a place on your website for it.
When watching the videos, the ads do not get served properly and the "Loading video, please wait" screen just stays on forever. This has gone on for a week. Sometimes the player works and sometimes not. Usually not. It is not possible to watch an entire show. Maybe one or two clips.
I suspect that the ads reside on a different server than the programming clips. There is some issue with retrieving the ads for playing. The player never gets to the next programming clip because the ad can't be retrieved.
This is bothersome because I like to watch Morning Joe at night when I go to bed. I have it play and I can listen to it. It is a newsy show and it is also a fun show. It is a nice go-to-bedtime show.
When you solve the problem, you may also want to rewrite the Flash player to just skip the ad after some period of non-retrieval. You don't want your programming interrupted just because of a minor error on some other server. There should be a time-out watchdog in the player.
Sorry for blasting this out. DO NOT get anyone in trouble. This is a run-of-the-mill technical issue.
But I want it fixed because you are inconveniencing me. [Loud, strained whisper:] And we know what happens then!
